Privacy Policy in relation to the website: www.d-rom.com (‘the Site’)

1. INTERPRETATION In this Privacy Policy the ‘Service’ means the service provided on the Site, which includes, but is not limited to, an online interaction website providing subscribers, the opportunity to stream, download and purchase music, videos, photo galleries and event information.  ‘Subscribers’ means customers, members or any individual who accesses the Site and gives their permission to be sent email messages to their email address in respect of the Service or related activities.  2. INTRODUCTION (a) The Site is a UK-based website and we take reasonable care to comply with the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1998 (‘the Act’) relating to the personal information you supply on the Site.  (b) For the purpose of the Act, the data controller is D-ROM Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 4214152 whose registered office is at Elite House, 155 Main Road, Biggin Hill, Westerham, Kent TN16 3JP.  3. YOUR PERSONAL DATA When you sign up for a D-Rom account, or purchase D-Rom products and services, the information we gather (‘Information’) may include your name and address, and email address. If you have registered as a member of the Service or a Subscriber, the Information will include any personal information which you submit to the Site together with details of your visits to the Site.  Except as set out below, we will not sell, distribute or disclose your Information without your consent, unless required or permitted to do so by law. We will use your personal information (a) to provide the products and/or services you purchase or request; (b) to contact you concerning your account and any customer service issues; (c) to advise you of new products and services offered by us and our affiliated companies or partners; and (d) to obtain feedback on the level and performance of our services.   We take steps to ensure your personal information is secure from unauthorised access, including the request that you use a unique, strong password, and that details of this password are not shared with third parties. 4. If you do not wish to receive any such communications from us or third parties, you may opt out by notifying us on the email address above. (b) We may offer you the opportunity to sign up to a mailing list and/or newsletter, to participate in a survey or a competition, or to receive information by email about third parties’ products and services, or any other products and services which we provide. LINKS TO THIRD PARTIES’ SITES We may provide links to other websites.  Before supplying any personal information to any other website, we recommend that you check that website’s Privacy Policy.  We do not accept responsibility for the protection of any data supplied to other sites. 7. (b)    If D-ROM Ltd or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, personal data held by it about its customers may be one of the transferred assets.

Cookies We may use cookies to monitor how you are using the Site, as these will help us make improvements for the future.  You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies, but if you do so parts of the Site may not work correctly.  Information about your computer such as your IP address, operating system and browser type may also be used to examine usage trends, but this will not allow for any personal identification.
